Senior Care Assistants work closely with the home’s Registered Nurse and Home Manager to help develop plans and put them into motion, giving our Residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence. As a Senior Care Assistant, it is all about leading and influencing your team to deliver the very highest standards of care each day. Therefore, it is vital our Senior Care Assistants bring great energy to their home, in addition to good record-keeping, time management, and communication skills. Being a Home Care Assistant at HC-One

Our Home Care Assistants provide care to individuals living within their own homes, enabling them to stay safe within their home environment while receiving person-centred care tailored to meet their individual needs. Working as a Home Care Assistant is extremely rewarding, as you will travel between older people living in the community to help them achieve their personal aims and objectives, in accordance with their individual support plans. Our Home Care Assistants help older people with a variety of tasks, including home care, nutritional care and meal preparation, and shopping. In addition, they may support the service user to remain involved with community activities, such as education, sports and leisure, while providing a sense of companionship and interaction.
